The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, along with the Hull College of Business at Augusta University, is pleased to host the March Women in Business Luncheon on Tuesday, March 21 at the Legends Club. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 am and feature a presentation on the RPM (Reaching Potential Through Manufacturing) program, a unique partnership between the Richmond County School System and Textron Specialized Vehicles.

Guest speakers Dr. Jason Moore, Principal of RPM, Richmond County School System and Heather Meyer, Plant Manager, Textron Specialized Vehicles will present key components of a program that is bringing education, business and industry together successfully to further workforce development in the greater Augusta region.

The RPM program is designed to help students by providing support and motivation to finish high school and enjoy better lives. Providing students with classroom instruction, on-the-job training, key work/life skills, mentoring, and employment opportunities, the RPM program helps them stay in school, graduate, and go on to become successful, productive members of the workforce.

Tickets for the luncheon are $30 for Chamber members and $40 for prospective members.  Advanced registration is required at AugustaMetroChamber.com or by calling 706.821.1300. Deadline to register is Friday, March 17.
