The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for its two highly sought after leadership programs, Leadership Columbia County and Youth Leadership Columbia County. 

Leadership Columbia County, presented by SRP Federal Credit Union, is designed to expose business and area leaders to the opportunities and challenges facing our community as well as promote and foster the development of leaders who are committed to shaping Columbia County’s future.  During the ten month program, class members develop a high level of community awareness as they engage in day-long class sessions covering various topics such as law enforcement, healthcare, workforce and education, economic development and history of the county. Applications for the Class of 2018 can be downloaded at columbiacountychamber.com/LeadershipColumbiaCounty and are due to the Chamber office no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017.

A junior version of Leadership Columbia County, Youth Leadership Columbia County is designed to educate and motivate young leaders through experience, enabling them to take an active role in their community. The program results in strong leaders who have hope for the future and the tools to influence a positive and progressive community. Participants must be rising sophomores or juniors in Columbia County high schools or residents of Columbia County. Applications can be downloaded at columbiacountychamber.com/YouthLeadershipColumbiaCounty and are due to the Chamber office no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017.
