The Augusta Biker Coalition holds their BEAT THE HEAT fan ride for The Salvation Army on Saturday April 15th  brining electric fans that will be used to help individuals and families in need.

Area bikers will meet up at the Walmart in Grovetown, 5010 Steiner Way, starting at 11:00AM with KSU (Kick Stands Up) at noon departing for The Salvation Army’s Center of Hope, 1384 Greene St, Augusta.

Each rider will have one box fan to donate to The Salvation Army to help those in need of relief this summer. The bikers should arrive at the Center of Hope around 12:30pm.

“No one enjoys suffering through oppressing Augusta summers,” said Captain Philip Canning, The Salvation Army Area Commander, “many people suffer without the relief of air conditioning.”
