Taste of the Master Chefs is thrilled to have welcomed Masters Champion Sergio Garcia to its first annual event Friday, April 7 during Masters Week in Augusta. Garcia attended the event at the personal invitation of international culinary luminary and TOMC Chef Chair José Andrés.

The first-time fundraising culinary event welcomed an estimated 500 people to an indoor/outdoor experience at West Lake Country Club that included "Live Fire Theater," with Arteflame and certified master chef Rich Rosendale, from Washington, DC. Other notable, award-winning chefs who served the best in regional flavors included Michael Gulotta, New Orleans; David Guas, Washington, DC; and Hugo Ortega, Houston, TX, among others.

"This is the beginning of a new charitable legacy event," Taste of the Master Chefs Founder Wayne Kostroski said. "We look forward to making an impact in the Augusta community every year and providing for those in need of the services and food programs available through The Salvation Army of Augusta."
