Augusta's Soul City Sirens to Host Low Down Throw Down Roller Derby Tournament

Augusta's own Soul City Sirens are hosting the Fourth Annual Low Down Throw Down Roller Derby Tournament the weekend of May 5-7 at the Columbia County Exhibition Center. The first whistle will be at 12 p.m. Friday, May 5th and the championship game will start at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7th.

Throughout the weekend, there will be 16 games and 11 teams from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The event is a WFTDA D3 tournament designed to help teams duke it out for rankings. The Soul City Sirens will play at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 6th against the Richland County Regulators from Columbia, South Carolina.

Tickets are $15 per day or $25 for the weekend with a $5 discount for all military. Kids 12 and under are free. Ticket sales will benefit the 501st Legion. To purchase tickets online, click here.
