Christ Community Health Services Augusta dedicated their new 8-chair dental clinic on Thursday, naming it in honor of H. Anthony ‘Tony’ Neal, DDS, an Augusta Oral Surgeon.

“We named our clinic in honor of Dr. Neal to recognize his record of service to the Augusta area and because he embodies the mission of Christ Community Health,” said Chad Brantley, DMD, Dental Director for Christ Community.

Dr. Neal, a long time Augusta resident, is a co-founder of the Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the only dentist to serve as Chief of Staff at University Hospital. He has made major contributions to the dental community through his leadership, his commitment to caring for the under-served and by moderating monthly Lunch and Learn dental continuing education workshops hosted at the CFOMS offices. The Lunch and Learn workshops have been offered for more than 25 years.

The Neal Dental Clinic at Christ Community’s Olde Town health center is an 8-chair facility offering a complete range of family dental care for the uninsured and under-insured of the CSRA.
