Columbia County Chamber Post Legislative Breakfast Recap

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2017 Post Legislative Breakfast, presented by Queensborough National Bank & Trust Company, on Tuesday, May 9 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion. Offered annually by the Chamber's Government Affairs Committee, the Post Legislative Breakfast allows local business leaders to keep abreast of the political challenges and activities that affect the Greater Augusta area.
During the program, keynote speaker State Revenue Commissioner Lynne Riley, addressed the crowd of over 250 local business and community leaders, outlining the responsibilities of the Georgia Department of Revenue and discussing new legislation that was adopted during the 2017 legislative session.
The event also featured a panel discussion with state legislative delegates from the Greater Augusta area. Those in attendance included Sen. Jesse Stone, Sen. Lee Anderson, Rep. Barry Fleming, Rep. Jodi Lott and Rep. Mark Newton.
