Discount Appliance will host its ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, May 19^th, in the Anderson Plaza, 266 Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta. Prestige Appliance LLC, headquartered in Aiken, opened the factory discount store back in April.

The ribbon cutting will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday, and on Saturday, Discount Appliance will host a grand opening celebration with free food, a freezer giveaway and more. The store is even offering a chance for customers to “win their purchase.” This means that for anyone who makes a purchase between now and June 30^th, they’ll be able to get a full reimbursement of their purchase up to $1,500.

Discount Appliance offers factory direct scratch and dent appliances from all the top brands. The appliances come with full factory warranties and are up to 30 percent off big-box store pricing. Discount Appliance has refrigerators starting from $349, washer and dryers starting from $299, and ranges from $249.

“By featuring Frigidaire and Electrolux appliances in this new store, it enables us to further extend our product offering to all segments and price points of the Augusta market that we normally wouldn’t serve,” Dough Huffer, managing partner and founder of Prestige Appliance said. “We are excited to establish this initial location, and, if successful, we look forward to further expanding the discount appliance footprint in other markets we serve.”
