Richmond County School System Nutrition Services Awarded at the 62nd Annual GSNA Conference
Congratulations to the Richmond County School System Nutrition Services Department for earning multiple awards at the 62nd Annual Georgia School Nutrition Association Conference in Jekyll Island.

Ms. Tamecka Crawford, Nutrition Manager at Meadowbrook Elementary, was awarded the 2016-2017 Georgia Manager of the Year and received a Gold Scroll Award for the county. The Gold Scroll recognizes the comprehensive involvement and investment Richmond County School System Nutrition Services dedicates to its community and students throughout the year. Ms. Ashley Whitener, Nutrition Manager at the Richmond County Technical Career Magnet School, was awarded a Gold Scroll as District 10 President, representing Richmond County and multiple counties in the CSRA.

The Richmond County School System Nutrition Services Department is a proud supporter of GSNA, which is “the professional organization of school food service employees in the state of Georgia”. The association in Richmond County works to promote professional development, Georgia grown products in the county’s schools, and innovative school nutrition avenues to best serve student customers.
