The Ellis Agency Announces Charity Event to Sponsor the Camp Carpe Diem Program for Regional Children with Epilepsy
Tuesday, June 13th, 2017
The Ellis Agency, a Georgia-based firm that provides asset protection services and financial consulting assistance to residential and business clients throughout the greater Richmond County region, is announcing a charity drive to raise local support for the Camp Carpe Diem program.
Camp Carpe Diem is a nonprofit summer camp specifically designed to serve the needs of children living with epilepsy. Hosted at Twin Lakes, Camp Carpe Diem works to give 100 children with epilepsy the chance to enjoy outdoor activities, engage in team building exercises, and build lifelong relationships with peers and mentors who reside in the area.
“Summer camp is an important part of growing up for all children, and we’re working with Camp Carpe Diem to make sure every child in our community has an equal chance to enjoy a fun-filled summer,” says Lance Ellis, owner and executive director of the Ellis Agency.
Working with his professional team, Ellis is reaching out to local special needs educators, like minded families, and business associates throughout the region to build local support for the summer camp program. Future efforts to increase visibility for the event will include a full length write up on Camp Carpe Diem which will be released in an upcoming edition of the Ellis Agency online magazine “Our Hometown”: http://lanceellisagency.com/magazines/.
Camp Carpe Diem is the first of many charity events that Ellis and his team plan to host over the months to come. As new members of the “Agents of Change” charity support initiative, the Ellis team is committed to selecting and promoting a new Georgia-based nonprofit cause every sixty days.
