The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce along with Spherion Staffing, our presenting sponsor, is pleased to announce COL Todd Turner as the guest speaker for the June Women in Business Program. The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 11:30am at the Legends Club and will focus on “Fort Gordon Growth: Moving Forward Together”.

COL Todd Turner, Fort Gordon Garrison Commander, will present on the growth and development underway at Fort Gordon. COL Turner will discuss current and upcoming projects within the gates, partnerships beyond the gates, and the impact of these initiatives within the community, workforce and life in the greater Augusta region.

COL Todd Turner is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from the United States Military Academy and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in Aviation in 1994. His professional education includes an M.A. in Military Operation Art and Science from the Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL, and a U.S. Army War College Fellowship at Duke University. COL Turner served as the Chief, Strategic Initiatives Group, Cyber Center of Excellence, from 2015-2016, and he took command of the Garrison at Fort Gordon in June 2016.
