Hussey Gay Bell Announces New Director of Business Development

Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce Mrs. Ansley Threlkeld as Director of Business Development. In her new role, Mrs. Threlkeld is responsible for development of and coordination of overall business development efforts for Hussey Gay Bell’s family of companies located in five offices and two states – Georgia and South Carolina.

A native of Augusta, Mrs. Threlkeld holds two degrees – a Bachelor of Communications degree from Mercer University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Mrs. Threlkeld has practiced in the areas of civil litigation and real estate and formerly served as the Director of Governmental Affairs at the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce. As a result of her previous experiences, Mrs. Threlkeld has been intricately involved in governmental affairs, statewide politics and has developed many related regional and interstate relationships in the A/E/C industry.

Past and present volunteer and community involvement commitments include: The Women’s Board of Bethesda, Savannah Music Festival Development Board, Press On Fund, Alex’s House Orphanage, the Georgia Bar Association, Rotary Club, Next Generation Summer Soiree Co-Chair and Blue Key National Honor Society. She was a member of the 2009 Class of Leadership Georgia and served as a Program Chair in 2011. In addition, Ms. Threlkeld has and continues to be an active participant in various business and non-profit activities.

Mrs. Threlkeld is an active member of Community Bible Church in Savannah, Georgia. She enjoys yoga, playing bridge, traveling and spending time with her husband, Paul, and their three children – Hughes, E.B. and Hamp.
