United Way of the CSRA will kick-off its fundraising campaign this year at Bell Auditorium on Monday, August 28, at 12 Noon.  The event is being sponsored by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, Augusta University/Health, Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Doctors Hospital, Electrolux, Georgia Power, MAU Workforce Solutions, and University Health Care System.  United Way invites the community to be a part of this exciting event.

The theme for this year’s Kickoff will be a Circus Carnival.  This should be a fun event for everyone and one that guests will not want to miss.  United Way will be announcing the campaign goal for 2017.  Entertainment will be provided by Burke County High School Chorus. 

United Way’s Carnival Kickoff is a combined civic club luncheon with participation from local groups including Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs, as well as local business and community leaders.  The program will begin at 12:00 noon and will end promptly at 1:30 p.m.  The cost of the luncheon is $35/person or $280/table of eight.   Tables are filling up fast, so please register online at uwcsra.org or call United Way at (706) 724-5544 to reserve your seat(s) today.
