2017 IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta Media Day With Professional Athletes September 22nd

The Augusta Sports Council is please to announce we will have two professional athletes added to our 2017 IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta Media Day on Friday, September 22nd at 10 a.m. in the 2nd floor pre-function Room at the Augusta Marriott on 2 10th St. There will be both a press conference and break out session.
In addition to over 3,750 registered participants, this year's IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta will include professional male and female athletes. We will have six people on our panel bringing different perspectives from the event including two professionals

Chad Kimbrell - Local athlete from Augusta. Involved athlete with the local tri and bike community. Former president of Triaugusta. Race director for GatorFest. Not competing this year but has completed multiple full and half IRONMAN events.
Beamie's on the River - A representative will be on the panel to discuss the impact of IRONMAN 70.3 to their business and the community as a whole.
Robyn Fonce - Local athlete from Warrenville, SC. Volunteered for the past two years with the Augusta chapter for wear blue:run to remember and now participating in her first IRONMAN 70.3 event as an athlete.
