Becky Blalock has over 30 years of executive management and corporate experience. Her unique perspective and insights help her provide others advice and proven concepts on how to gain confidence, step outside their comfort zone, and ultimately DARE to achieve greater success in the workplace and reach the highest tier of leadership.

As the former Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Southern Company, she directed IT
strategy and operations across the nine subsidiaries of Southern Company. Recognized as a thought
leader in several industries, she's received numerous honors, including CIO Lifetime Achievement Award
and the Legacy Award from Women in Technology. Also an active advocate for women and children,
Becky was recognized as Power Woman of the Year by Atlanta Woman magazine and received the
Shining Star Award from the Atlanta Women's Foundation.

Currently the Managing Partner at Advisory Capital, her bestselling book DARE: Straight Talk on
Confidence, Courage, and Career for Women in Charge was published in 2013.
