Recently, Mr. Beverly F. Dolan sold his residence located in Richmond County’s District 7. Shortly after closing on his new home, he forwarded a letter to the Governor of Georgia, as required by law, stating he resigned as the Richmond County Board of Education Trustee for District 7.

A copy of this letter was sent to the Director of the Board of Elections who has determined a special election will be held in March 2018 to complete the vacant term previously held by Mr. Dolan, which would expire December 31, 2018.

The Richmond County School System would like to thank Mr. Dolan for his 10 years of service and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
