Peach Orchard Road Section Dedication to Bernard F. Miles

On behalf of the Georgia Department of Transportation, all are invited to dedicate the portion of US 25/Peach Orchard Road between Lumpkin Road and I-520 in Richmond County as the Bernard F. Miles Memorial Highway.
A ceremony will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 2934 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Ga.
Georgia DOT State Transportation Board member Don Grantham will join officials including state Rep. Henry "Wayne" Howard and Rep. Sheila Nelson to honor the Miles family.
Miles served with the Richmond County Board of Education and as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives among many other pursuits.
