Sherman & Hemstreet announced that David L. Moretz has joined their commercial sales team. David has been licensed in real estate for 28 years. Previously, David was Senior Vice President at Sherman & Hemstreet from 1993 to 2000 where he oversaw commercial sales and leasing.  Prior to rejoining Sherman and Hemstreet, Mr. Moretz had his own firm, Moretz & Associates Realty.

For the past four years David spent time between Little Rock, AR and Augusta, GA while his wife, Julie, was on staff at UAMS as the Associate Vice-Chancellor for Patient- and Family-Centered Care. David is now permanently back in Augusta with Julie, who is Chief Experience Office/AVP, Patient- and Family-Centered Care at AU Health.

David specializes in sales and leasing of office properties in addition to all other general real estate needs a client may request. He holds the prestigious SIOR designation (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. There are currently four SIOR designees in the Augusta market, two of whom are industrial specialists and two are office specialist. Mr. Moretz and S&H broker Joe Edge are the only two SIOR office specialists in this market. David is a past president of the Summerville Neighborhood Association, and a graduate of Leadership Augusta and Leadership Georgia.
