Premier Networx, The Augusta IT Guys, was chosen as Columbia County Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Small Business of the Year during the Chamber’s 13^th Annual Banquet on Feb. 8. The IT Support and Services company was nominated by Kevin Netherton with TaxSlayer.

President and CEO of Premier Networx Chad Harpley started the company in 2013 after seeing a need in the CSRA for a technology company that could meet all the IT needs of the area’s businesses. Harpley has 15 years of experience in both the telephone and IT world, and he used it to start Premier Networx, which has grown to 15 employees. The company focuses on small-to medium-sized businesses and is known for their unprecedented customer service. Since opening, the company has acquired two other local IT companies – Vernon Systems, LLC in 2014 and Ran Services in 2015.
