The Salvation Army Auto Auction Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary March 3rd

The Salvation Army Augusta Area Command is holding their first of three auto auctions this year on Saturday, March 3, at 1384 Greene Street in Augusta.
 
The Salvation Army of Augusta Auto Auction is celebrating their 20th anniversary on March 3. The auction consists of more than 50 cars. Top auction items include a 2004 Coachman Oasis Camper, 2004 Land Rover, 2002 Honda VTX180 Motorcycle and 2006 Chevy HHR.
 
The Salvation Army Auto Auction is one of the organization's largest fundraisers. Since their first Auto Auction in February 1998, they have raised over $4 million for their free Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Program.
 
Registration fee for this auction is $5. Customers are encouraged to visit the auction yard during preview days where they can view the inventory, look under the hood, and start the vehicles. The auctioneer will be Gene Cockerham (#998).
