Under Armour Eyewear Continues Support for Caddy For A Cure at CaddyBash in Augusta

Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Monday, March 26th, 2018

Monday of Masters week just got a little brighter as Under Armour Eyewear announces its continuation of sponsorship of the annual CaddyBash in Augusta.  The CaddyBash event, benefitting Caddy For A Cure, will be held at the Executive Club. The Executive Club is an off-course premium hospitality venue located directly across the street from the Augusta National Golf Club, site of the 2018 Masters Tournament. During the evening hours following the Monday practice round, as part of the CaddyBash Caddy For A Cure will conduct an exclusive interview with an opportunity for guests to have a Q&A session with world renowned professional instructor, Sean Foley and world-class TOUR caddy Ted Scott (Bubba Watson).  Immediately following the session guests can watch the NCAA Championship finals game on high definition screens and enjoy premium quality hospitality services.

“Supporting Caddy For a Cure is another example of UA Eyewear finding opportunities to connect with the game of golf in a meaningful way. UA Eyewear’s licensee, Eyeking LLC, also has an ongoing contract with the Association for Professional Tour Caddies, and is expecting a group of sponsored caddies to also be in attendance at CaddyBash. UA Eyewear’s partnership with the APTC and Caddy for a Cure has continued the conversation of how important it is to protect your eyes on the course”, says Tom Cox, VP of Sales for Eyeking.

Caddy For A Cure is a non-profit organization that raises money to support notable charitable groups through its program in professional golf. “In addition to facilitating involvement in the game and rehabilitation through our program, we were able to participate in a service dog donation to a wounded service member and participant of our Caddy For A Cure program.  This achievement, combined with our donation of a mortgage free home last year, continues to fuel our drive to provide support to our military thru golf and we’re confident the CaddyBash at the Executive Club will be another step in that direction” says Russ Holden, Founder of Caddy For A Cure. “We are honored and grateful for this amazing opportunity and show of support by UA Eyewear and PrimeSport.”

The event is set to begin at 7:30 pm EST and tickets are available to purchase for $100.00 on www.caddyforacure.com.
