Join the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and noted Augusta business attorney J. Edward Enoch with Enoch Tarver on April 19 to learn the ‘Top Ten Mistakes Small Businesses Make’ and how to avoid them at the Chamber’s Third Thursday Business Builder.

Ed Enoch will share insights he has gained from helping local businesses for over 20 years.  Through the years, Ed has found there are common and costly mistakes many small businesses make in dealing with their employees, their customers and numerous other aspects of their business. In reviewing these top 10 issues, find out what might be affecting your bottom line and gain practical tips on mitigating risk to focus on your business success.

Ed has practiced law for almost 25 years, developing a wide array of specialties and areas of expertise. Ed’s practice focuses on representing closely held businesses and their owners, to include formation, transition, business planning, estate planning, employment law and real estate.

Before graduating magna cum laude from the prestigious Washington and Lee University law school, he served his country first as a Nuclear Power Plant operator in the United States Navy and later as an instructor teaching basic electrical and electronic principles to Navy personnel.

Ed is a frequent public speaker on employment and management issues. Outside of work he has served in numerous leadership positions in his community including President of the Augusta South Rotary Club, Chairman of the Board of the Metro Family Y, Executive Committee Member for the United Way and Scoutmaster, Boy Scout Troop 45.
