The Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau is asking the community to vote Augusta for “Best City” in the 2019 South’s Best Awards. The ACVB is proud that Augusta has been nominated as one of the best representations of Southern culture and hospitality by Southern Living. This merit-based nomination comes as a result of ACVB public relations efforts to gain national media recognition for Augusta’s River Region.
 
Augusta is honored to be listed among some of the South’s most distinguished destinations in the “South’s Best City” category. Previous winners include Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, Austin, TX, and Chattanooga, TN.
