IntelliSystems Wins Statewide Fundraising Awards

As part of their Silver Jubilee to celebrate 25 years in business, the IntelliSystems team took part in Bytes for Bites, a competition sponsored by the Technology Association of Georgia between tech companies and IT departments in Georgia to help raise money for local food banks.

Through their fundraising efforts, IntelliSystems ended up raising a total of $5422 and collecting 81 pounds of food which is the equivalent of 21,755 meals for Golden Harvest Food Bank. The IntelliSystems team was honored to receive awards for most points per employee in the Augusta area and they were also the small company winner for total points and points per employee for the state of Georgia. As a group, the IT community in Georgia that participated ended up raising 281,176 meals for their respective food banks.

“We are so thankful to all of our friends, family, and colleagues that helped us raise money for Golden Harvest Food Bank,” says Kevin Wade, President and CEO of IntelliSystems. “For our 25th year in business, we wanted to find a fun way to give back and this fit the bill perfectly. It was great to see Augusta’s cyber community give back and represent our city so well in the competition.”
