Double Jab Promotions presents the inaugural Stars & Strikes National Kickboxing Tournament at the historic Miller Theater August 25. The World Association of Kickboxing sanctioned event will feature a Team USA Qualifying Tournament during the day and a Team USA vs. a team of Australia's elite at a series of main event matched in the evening.

A passion project for Mark Greubel, head coach for Team USA Kickboxing and manager of Greubel's Mixed Martial Arts in Augusta, the Stars and Strike tournament has been developed not only as a national team qualifier, but also in an attempt to position August as a stronghold for kickboxing in the United States.

"We are going to put August on the map for kickboxing," he said. "The way we see it, on August 25, history is going to be made."

The day tournament will feature novice, intermediate and advanced fights and the evening bouts will feature elite pro kickboxers in K-1 rules fights.
