Earlier this year, Augusta on Ice & Lights of the South announced a combined holiday festival, Winterland. We’ve put a tremendous amount of work into making this happen, and we are so disappointed that we are not able to offer an ice skating rink at Lights of the South this year. Despite our best efforts, we just couldn’t have a suitable space for a rink ready in time.

However, we have been working closely with Columbia County throughout the process, and they have graciously offered to host Augusta on Ice as part of their Christmas in Columbia County celebration at Evans Towne Center Park.

Families across the CSRA will be able to visit Lights of the South in Grovetown to enjoy the lights display, S’mores, Santa and more. They will also be able to ice skate outdoors at Evans Towne Center Park.
