Columbia County Chamber of Commerce to Host Annual Pre-Legislative Breakfast November 8th

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Pre-Legislative Breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.
 
Moore Hallmark, Executive Director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Office of Congressional and Public Affairs, will be the keynote speaker. Hallmark oversees the congressional and public affairs for eight states in the Southeast, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Prior to joining the U.S. Chamber, Hallmark served as governmental affairs director for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia, where he served as the association’s chief lobbyist.
 
The Pre-Legislative Breakfast will also feature a panel discussion with State Senate and House Representatives from Columbia County. Among the state leaders scheduled to attend are: Senator Jesse Stone, Senator Lee Anderson, Representative Tom McCall, Representative Barry Fleming, Representative Jodi Lott and Representative Mark Newton.
