Columbia County Chamber WOW Class of 2018 Set to Graduate

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce’s Women On The Way program will graduate its Class of 2018 with a special program on Tuesday, November 27.
 
Sponsored by Spherion, WOW is a 10-month program geared towards mentoring young professional women. As many as five top executive females will mentor up to 20 young professional women (23 to 30-years-old) during a monthly luncheon focused on key topics that help them develop personally and professionally.

Participants are selected through an application process, and only one representative per company is selected for each class.
 
The 12 graduates of the WOW Class of 2018 are: Donna Brunstad, SME CPAs; Kristen Busby, Busby’s, Inc.; Katlyn Gates, Southeastern Development; Payton Prather, Episcopal Day School; Shontanae Green, Exchange Optometry; Savannah Juarez, The Cleveland Group CPAs; Jenna Moore, SRP FCU; Kelsey Robertson, Ivey Homes; Alicia Sweat, Southeastern Fire Fighters Burn Foundation; Sarah Veraldi, Bill Beazley Homes; Jennifer Washington, Watson & Knox; and Ashley White, Augusta University.
 
Mentors for the Class of 2018 are Caroline Ashe, Ivey Homes; Angela Brock, The Cleveland Group CPAs; and Michelle Piper, State Bank.
 
Applications for the 2019 Young Women On The Way (YWOW) program are available now. The deadline to apply for the program is Friday, Dec. 14 at 5:00 p.m.
