Mayor Hardie Davis, Jr. will host the Mayor’s Office 3rd Annual Community Holiday Drop-In on Monday, December 17 from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. During the event, Augusta residents, business owners, and employees are invited to join Davis, his wife and staff for a festive celebration and light refreshments in the Mayor’s Office.
 
“This season is about fellowship with friends and family and we are glad to add community to the celebration of the season,” said Davis. “It is important for our community to come together to celebrate our successes, reflect on those we’ve lost, and look ahead with optimism and hope,” Davis added.
 
During the event, Mayor Davis will present three local organizations with a check from the Mayor’s Masters Reception. The organizations were chosen because of their commitment as a community resource to support children and their families from cradle to career.
 
“I’m excited to support these organizations and their efforts,” said Davis. “Their work is making a measurable impact in the lives of many across Augusta.”
