Georgia-Carolina Council Honors Local Volunteers

The Georgia-Carolina Council of the Boy Scouts of America held their annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet on March 8th 2019 at the Church of the Holy Comforter. With 100 Scouters in attendance 4 were recognized with the Silver Beaver Award, the highest honor a local council can present to a volunteer. This year’s recipients were Andy Knox, Tracy Singer, Brian Vining and Sheila Zimmerman.
Eagle Scouts Judge Daniel Craig and Robert Knox Jr. were honored as Outstanding Eagle Scouts.
This recognition is given by the Georgia-Carolina Council National Eagle Scout Committee to those who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at the local, state or regional level in their chosen profession, as well as civic endeavors. There are currently only 4 Outstanding Eagle Scout Recipients in the CSRA.
