GreenJackets Introduce New Additions For 2019 Season

The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, have announced the Front Office Staff promotions and additions for the 2019 season. The GreenJackets promoted two staff members, added on six new full-time staff members and bring on nine new interns going into second season at SRP Park.
"The GreenJackets are excited to promote Shannon and Troy. We have one of the hardest working staffs in Milb and these promotions showcase the growth we are having with SRP Park. We are also happy to welcome Josh, Darrell, Tyler, Kaitlyn, RJ and Alexis along with the interns to the front office team. These individuals bring with them a great deal of talent to North Augusta and we are excited to have them represent the GreenJackets in the CSRA community", said GreenJackets Vice President, Tom Denlinger.
Shannon Mitchell and Troy Pakusch both see promotions going into the 2019 season. Shannon was promoted to the Marketing and Community Relations Manager while Troy was promoted to the Assistant Ticket Sales Manager. Mitchell enters her fifth season with the GreenJackets while Pakusch will begin his fourth season in the GreenJackets Front Office. Both played integral roles in the success of the Inaugural Season at SRP Park in 2018.
Josh Shea has been named the Food & Beverage Director. Josh previously was with the Charleston RiverDogs (Single A Affiliate of the New York Yankees) and brings a wealth of knowledge in the culinary world to SRP Park. Chef Shea is a 2006 graduate of Clemson University who also earned an associate's degree from the Culinary Institute of Charleston. Previously, Chef Shea was the catering chef at Tidewater Catering, Triangle Char and Bar in West Ashley and at Halls Chop House in downtown Charleston. He has also served as a personal chef during this time. A native of Abbeville, S.C., Chef Shea's experience includes awards at the 2012 Charleston Wine + Food Festival's Brisket and Shoulder competition, first place in the 2011 Pearlstine Competition Home Cooking category and first place in the 2011 Oyster Competition for his Oysters Rockefeller. He will oversee the growth in premium event menus and revamp and improve the Food & Beverage operation going into the 2019 season.
Darrell Lemmer returns to the GreenJackets after a stint with the team in 2017. He will serve as the Head Groundskeeper at SRP Park. His responsibilities include daily field maintenance, game/practice set up and other outside events. Before returning to the GreenJackets, Darrell was with the Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training Facility in Phoenix, Arizona. His extensive career in the turf industry includes stops along the way with the 2017 World Baseball Classic in Seoul, South Korea, Staten Island Yankees, Hoofddorp Pioniers (Netherlands), Bristol Pirates, World Baseball Classic Qualifying Tournament in Mexico, 2016 European Baseball Championships in the Netherlands, Potomac Nationals, MLB Opening Series in Sydney Australia, 2013 World Baseball Classic in Taichung, Taiwan, and the Daytona Cubs to name a few. Lemmer will continue to showcase SRP Park's playing surface as one of the premier fields in the Southeast.
Tyler Henderson returns back to the GreenJackets from the Quad Cities River Bandits (Single A Affiliate of the Houston Astros). Tyler takes over the role of Ticket Operations Manager. He spent the 2016 season with the GreenJackets as a Sales Intern. Before the GreenJackets, Tyler spent time with the Aberdeen IronBirds, Richmond Flying Squirrels, Peninsula Pilots and the Washington Nationals. He is a 2015 graduate from George Mason University.
Kaitlyn Shepard has been named the Event and Catering Manager going into the 2019 season. Kaitlyn will be starting her 5th season in Minor League Baseball. She joins the GreenJackets after spending the last two seasons as the Special Events Coordinator with the Rocky Mountain Vibes (Rookie Advanced Affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers). She has also spent time with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, University of Florida Athletic Association, and interned with the Detroit Tigers and Lakeland Flying Tigers. Kaitlyn graduated from Florida Southern College in 2014.
RJ Williams has been named the Stadium Operations Coordinator. Williams spent the 2018 season as the Food & Beverage Intern for the GreenJackets. RJ enters his second year in Minor League Baseball. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Alexis Ludovici will take over as the Multimedia Video & Creative Services Specialist. Ludovici is a recent graduate of the University of Florida and will begin her first season working in Minor League Baseball.
