Savannah River Bridge Closures to Return Monday

Interstate 20 west travelers need not worry about lane closures at the Savannah River bridge for the rest of the week. Monday Georgia DOT will return for form removal and final checks, meaning traffic interruption once again.
Weather permitting, all work will wrap up March 11 within general hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Expect the single lane closure from near Exit 1/W. Martintown Road to the Georgia state line to switch from the inside to outside lane at times. Traffic will always be able to move west though delays are expected.
