Larry Miller recently announced that Southpaw Roofing, a longtime Premier Provider in the CSRA HOME CONNECTIONS Local Alliance Co-op Marketing Program, is teaming up with Owens Corning and Purple Heart Homes Inc. to provide all the material and installation of a new roof for a local veteran on April 18^th. “We truly admire the charitable efforts of Southpaw President David Noyce and Southpaw Vice President Dustin Tyra,” reports Mr. Miller, the CEO of CSRA HOME CONNECTIONS, a subsidiary of CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty.

Sean Falcon, a 50-year-old veteran, and his family will receive a new roof on Thursday, April 18, from Southpaw Roofing, an Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Contractor. This nationwide effort is a way to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them. Since the inception of the Owens Corning National Roof Deployment Project in 2016, more than 120 military members have received new roofs.

Mr. Falcon served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for 18 years, including two deployments to Afghanistan. During his second deployment, Falcon was

injured by an IED while rendering aid to another convoy. After undergoing multiple

surgeries and extensive rehab, he was released from the Army in 2016.“Mr. Falcon risked everything during his career in the military and we are proud to give back to such a deserving veteran,” said Mr. Noyce. “We jumped at the opportunity to assist Sean and his family when we found out they were in need of a new roof for their home, because we know he would serve his country again without hesitation.”

Owens Corning Roofing and its network of independent Platinum Contractors, along with support from the Owens Corning Foundation, are donating roofing materials and labor to replace roofing shingles on the homes of military veterans and their families throughout the country. Through a partnership with Purple Heart Homes, Sean Falcon was selected and approved as the recipient for the roof replacement.
