The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in partnership with First Community Bank and South State Bank provided two $500 scholarships to be presented to attendees at the First Annual Career and College Expo in March of this year.  The event, which targeted middle and high school students and parents, saw over 4,000 in attendance on March 12, 2019.

Patrick Pace, an eighth grader from Riverside Middle School, was presented a $500 scholarship from First Community Bank’s Market President Jordan Pierce.

Hannah Brown, a tenth grader from Harlem High School, was presented a $500 scholarship from South State Bank’s President Jay Forrester.
