Augusta Sports Council (ASC) CEO Brian Graham is pleased to announce the hiring of a new full-time staff member. Monica Martinez-Canty has joined the Sports Council Team as of Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the position of Events Coordinator.
 
Martinez-Canty obtained her degree in kinesiology from Augusta University in 2016. She comes to the Sports Council from the Family Y of Greater Augusta where she was the corporate membership director responsible for strengthening corporate relationships, planning and coordinating company wide events, and daily operations at the Riverfront Y.

"We are extremely excited to have Monica join our team at the Augusta Sports Council as our new events coordinator. Her experience and diverse skill set will be valuable assets to us as we redefine the Sports Council and its role in recruiting and servicing sporting events in our community."
