Kate Dunaway Sanders, the vice president of account services for Alison South Marketing Group, has become a partner and has been promoted to chief operating officer. The other two partners are Mike Thomas and Cynthia South.

Sanders has over 10 years of nonprofit management, events and marketing experience. Before joining the Alison South team, Sanders worked for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the American Red Cross. Sanders also has four years of experience in the paper and printing industry.

Kate began her career with Alison South in 2015 as the Augusta Account Manager. In addition to national, regional and local clients, she manages Alison South's team of account managers.

An Augusta native, Sanders has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and advertising from the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia. As a volunteer, she serves on the board of directors for the American Red Cross, Leadership Augusta and the Boy Scouts’ Georgia-Carolina Council and is a volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Kate attends First Baptist Church of Augusta. She and her husband, Reid, have two sons.

South Company was founded in January 2010 by Mike Thomas and Cynthia South. The company purchased Alison Group in 2016 to form Alison South Marketing Group. Alison South now has 27 employees and three offices - Aiken, Augusta and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
