Augusta Chiropractor Chris Walker was awarded the 2019 Chiropractor of the Year by the Georgia Council of Chiropractic at its 38th annual convention on November 9 in Atlanta. 

"I used to think people who said they loved to work were crazy until chiropractic found me. The last 15 years I have not worked a day, but I have served every day,” Walker said. “When you live your life in service, it’s amazing the life God gives you. I have always loved what Winston Churchill said, and it has become one of my mottos, ‘Do good by doing good.’"

The Georgia Council of Chiropractic presented Walker with the award “for serving with pride the Georgia Council of Chiropractic and the chiropractic profession; for giving with passion of one’s self above and beyond expectations; and for loving a principle, a profession and the people.
