Dr. Paul Trotter, of Augusta Joins Queensborough Board of Directors

Dr. Paul G. Trotter, of Augusta, has joined the Board of Directors for Queensborough National Bank & Trust. An orthodontist, he practices at Trotter Orthodontics.

“As we increase our presence in Augusta and Savannah, it’s important to expand the board to reflect our growth,” said Bill Easterlin, Queensborough Chairman & CEO. “We are excited about the leadership and guidance that Dr. Trotter will provide to the bank.”

Trotter is a 2010 graduate of the MCG School of Dentistry. He received a certificate in Advanced General Dentistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2011 and completed specialty training and received his certificate in orthodontics from The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University in December 2013. He earned board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics in 2014.

"It has been a pleasure working with Queensborough for my banking needs. I look forward to bringing what I have learned about running a small business to the Board of Directors and increasing my knowledge of the banking industry,” Trotter said. “Local banks like Queensborough are vital to the success of small businesses, which drive the growth and betterment of our community."

Throughout his educational career, Trotter has held numerous leadership positions, including president of the MCG chapter of the American Student Dental Association. Trotter has completed leadership training programs through the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists and Georgia Dental Association. He now serves on the Alumni Board of The Dental College of Georgia.

Trotter is an accomplished golfer and has competed in local, regional and national tournaments. He and his wife, Liz, have two small children, Jackson and Annie.
