BankSouth Mortgage confirmed that it will relocate its Augusta mortgage office to Meybohm Real Estate’s office building in The Plaza at Evans Towne Center. The exact address is 7025 Evans Town Center Blvd, Suite 302, Evans, GA 30809. BankSouth Mortgage officials expect the move to be completed during the spring of 2020.

BankSouth and the BankSouth Mortgage leadership teams are confident that this move will deepen its roots and commitment to creating homeownership opportunities in Augusta, the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), and surrounding communities. The new office located in Meybohm’s building in The Plaza at Evans Towne Center features several offices for our Loan Officers and office staff, along with meeting rooms for our staff to meet with clients and host real estate closings if needed. James Gay, VP Market Leader, our origination team, and our operations team will occupy the 3,063 square-foot office space.
