Buona Caffe Artisan Roasted Coffee, Augusta’s award-winning local coffee roaster, is now offering mobile ordering for curbside pickup at its coffee bar at 1858 Central Ave. The service is offered through SWIPEBY, a North Carolina-based startup company working with restaurants nationwide to offer a safe and convenient curbside experience.

By creating an account on the SWIPEBY app, Buona Caffe customers can access the coffee bar’s menu for easy mobile ordering. Once the order has been made, the in-app timer provides an estimate on when the order will be ready (10 minutes, on average). When the customer arrives at the coffee bar, SWIPEBY notifies Buona Caffe.

“We are open for take-out and wanted to make it as easy and as safe as possible for our customers to stay happily caffeinated,” said John Curry, president and co-owner of Buona Caffe. “This also helps protect our staff, which is very important to us. All you have to do is pull up to the curb and we’ll deliver your order to your car.”

Now celebrating its 10^th anniversary, Buona Caffe Artisan Roasted Coffee is an Augusta-based family-owned business that provides freshly roasted specialty coffee to area restaurants, coffee shops, caterers, and to the public through its website and its coffee bars at 1858 Central Avenue and in the lobby of the Georgia Cyber Center. It has been voted best coffee in Augusta by the readers of Augusta Magazine seven times. Since 2017, Buona Caffe has won the People’s Choice Award for Best Coffee every year at the Charleston Coffee Fest.
