Augusta Technical College Announces Dr. Raphael Bostic as Keynote Speaker for May 2024 Commencement Ceremony

The Augusta Technical College Board of Directors, Faculty and Staff, and the 2024 Graduating Class invite the community to attend their commencement ceremony on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the James Brown Arena.
To be considered as a candidate for graduation, students must have completed all requirements of the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and Augusta Technical College’s Board of Directors and been certified by the registrar as having met all academic requirements
This year's graduating class is comprised of students from the Adult Education program and the Schools of Arts and Sciences; Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology; Business, Cyber and Design Media; Health Sciences; and Public and Professional Services.
Dr. Raphael Bostic, a distinguished leader in the financial sector, has been selected as the Augusta Technical College 2024 Commencement Keynote Speaker. Dr. Bostic currently serves as the 15th President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He is responsible for all the Bank's activities, including monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment services. He serves on the Federal Open Market Committee, the monetary policymaking body of the Federal Reserve System. Click here to read his full biography. The commencement ceremony will feature Bishop Mark Walden, House of God, Church of God in Christ in Thomson, Georgia, as guest pastor. He will give the invocation and benediction for the ceremony.
The Augusta Technical College 2024 Commencement Ceremony will also be streamed virtually via the college’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
