Thursday, May 30th, 2024
The Alliance for Fort Eisenhower is thrilled to announce the hosting of the nation’s largest summer CyberPatriot camps this June. From June 3-7, the team will welcome 152 campers to the largest Standard CyberPatriot Camp ever held. Following this, from June 24-28, the team will make history again by hosting the largest Advanced CyberPatriot Camp in the nation’s history. Both camps are entirely free for all attendees and will be held at the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center. Both camps are completely full!
The Standard CyberPatriot Camp, scheduled for June 3-7, is designed for beginners with no prior cybersecurity knowledge and covers topics such as the CyberPatriot competition, cybersecurity careers, cyber ethics, online safety, computer fundamentals, virtual machines, and cyber threats. The Advanced CyberPatriot Camp, taking place from June 24-28, offers a flexible curriculum tailored to the interests and needs of the students. Both camps conclude with a CyberPatriot competition on the final day.
What is CyberPatriot?
CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air & Space Forces Association. Its mission is to inspire K-12 students to pursue careers in cybersecurity and other STEM disciplines critical to our nation’s future. At the core of the program is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, the largest such competition in the country, which challenges high school and middle school students to secure virtual networks.

Quote from Dr. Tom Clark
"Hosting the nation’s largest CyberPatriot camps is a remarkable achievement for the Alliance for Fort Eisenhower/Alliance for Cyber Education (ACE) team. These camps are crucial for inspiring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. By providing students with hands-on experience and exposing them to real-world cybersecurity challenges, we are not only preparing them for future careers but also strengthening our nation’s cyber defenses. The enthusiasm and dedication we see in these young participants give us great confidence in the future of cybersecurity. We are blessed to have Fort Eisenhower in our community and to have the command team so involved in the success of cyber youth in our region. Instructors will come from NSA Georgia, the Cyber Protection Brigade, Army Cyber Command, and units across the entire Cyber Center of Excellence. No where else on the planet can you get this kind of world-class support for our youth” – Dr. Tom Clark
