Chamber President Appointed to GA Chamber Board

Columbia County Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Russell Lahodny, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and has begun his term.

The Georgia Chamber’s board members represent cities across Georgia as well as the businesses that have helped the state achieve economic success. As the state’s largest business advocacy organization, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce shapes public policy and fosters economic viability.

“I’m proud to be representing Columbia County in this new role at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and help the County and the Columbia County Chamber have more influence at the state level,” said Lahodny.

For over 100 years, the Georgia Chamber has worked to keep, grow and create jobs to make Georgia a better state for business. The Chamber has ensured economic competitiveness in over 500 industry sectors by serving as advocates of small, medium and large businesses located throughout Georgia.
