Thursday morning, community leaders will gather to unveil the “Pillars of the Golden Blocks” sculpture. It’s all part of an effort to enhance and revitalize the Laney Walker area.
The Golden Blocks is a nickname for the area near Laney Walker and James Brown Boulevards.
