Date Change Announced for Ribbon Cutting & Dedication Ceremony for the IRIS Sculpture: May 24th

The Augusta Garden Club is proud to announce the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the IRIS sculpture, created by renowned artists Colleen Beyer Stewart and Wesley L. Stewart. The event will take place on May 24th, 2:00pm at 511 Reynolds Street, where the sculpture is prominently displayed. Light refreshments will be provided following the ceremony.
The IRIS sculpture, a stunning testament to creativity and artistry, stands as a symbol of beauty and inspiration for the Augusta community. This magnificent piece was made possible through a generous donation from the Georgia Rehabilitation Institute, reflecting their commitment to supporting the arts and enhancing accessible public art.
The ceremony will be attended by esteemed guests, including local commissioners, representatives from The Greater Augusta Arts Council, members of the Public Art Advisory Panel, and esteemed members and friends of the Augusta Garden Club.
