Dr. Beth Sacksteder Appointed as Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations

Augusta Technical College proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Beth Sacksteder as Director of Annual Giving and Alumni.

Dr. Beth Sacksteder has over 20 years of experience in higher education administration. She has held various administrative and leadership positions in development, alumni relations, enrollment management, academic advising, and university events. Most recently, she served as Director of the Aiken Technical College Foundation in Aiken, SC. Additional positions have included Development Officer with the Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity Foundation, Special Projects Coordinator at the Medical College of Georgia, and Assistant Director of Academic Admissions at Augusta University.  

Other roles included positions at The University of Alabama, including Regional Recruiter based in Colorado and Wyoming, Director of Student Services for the Capstone College of Nursing, and Assistant Director of Enrollment Services and Programs.

Sacksteder is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and the American Association for Women in Community Colleges.

Sacksteder completed her Ph.D. in higher education administration at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, earned an M.A.Ed. in higher education at The University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, and received a baccalaureate degree in communications from the University of Mount Union, Alliance, Ohio.

I look forward to developing strong, collaborative relationships with alumni, community partners, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to support technical education, student success, and further Augusta Tech’s mission in the CSRA,” stated Dr. Sacksteder.

This position will report to the Office of Institutional Advancement.
