Home Builders Association of the Greater Aiken-Augusta Region Wins Award for Best HBA Partnership/Coalition

Home Builders Association of the Greater Aiken-Augusta Region] has been recognized for its outstanding Partnership/Coalition as Junior Achievement Discovery Center Housing Partner with an Award of Excellence from the Executive Officers Council (EOC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). 

Home Builders Association of the Greater Aiken-Augusta Region, President, Patrick Bukszar, Chief Executive Officer at Hurricane Builders says,“It is truly an honor for the hard work and professionalism of the HBAA staff to be recognized with this Association Excellence Award,” “I applaud their dedication to representing the home builder members and preserving the American Dream of homeownership and educating about our industry for our community and the future.

Bukszar continues,  “We are so proud of the commitment of our Association to educate students from all over the region about not only homeownership but also the wonderful jobs available in our industry with or without a degree. The programs that Junior Achievement of the CSRA and of Georgia offer through their Discovery Center all across Georgia is truly amazing work. We are thrilled to partner with them as well as receive this national recognition for this partnership.”

Tiffany Heizman, Executive Officer shares, “It is such a privilege to be able to partner with the Junior Achievement Discovery Center and to help educate our youth on the home building industry. It is imperative that we continue to set up our industry for success including providing the knowledge of career paths as well as the process to be able to own a home one day. We are incredibly grateful to be recognized for this by receiving an Award of Excellence.”

The Association Excellence Awards is an annual program designed to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of state and local home builders’ associations and executive officers in the field of association management. EOC membership is comprised of the staff executives who direct more than 590 NAHB-affiliated state and local home builders’ associations representing more than 130,000 home builders in communities across the United States.

The winning entries will be added to the NAHB website, so that other executives and associations across the country can access and learn from them in order to provide better service to their own members and community.
