Juneteenth Parade and Celebrations in Downtown Augusta

Downtown Augusta had a Juneteenth parade starting at the James Brown Arena, celebrating the holiday early.
“It’s very important that we all come out to support it so we can continue to always have a Juneteenth Parade, so it doesn’t stop,” said Melissa Farrar, a patron.
