The Miller Theater is pleased to announce the promotion of David Watts to Executive Director of the Miller Theater. Watts has served as the General Manager of the Miller Theater since August of 2021.

“From hosting numerous sold-out performances to providing free movies for the community through
our Movies at the Miller series, I am very proud of all that we have accomplished at the Miller Theater
since taking the reins,” said Watts. “Perhaps what brings me the most joy is fulfilling the Miller Theater’s
mission to provide diverse events and entertainment to the CSRA. I can proudly say that we have
something for everyone, and I am lucky to be a part of this amazing organization.”

Originally from South Carolina, Watts spent twenty-five years working in event and venue management
and marketing in Las Vegas before returning to the Southeast in 2021.

Under the leadership of David Watts, the Miller Theater has celebrated multiple record-breaking years
financially and introduced new mission-based initiatives solidifying the Miller Theater’s position as
the premier entertainment destination and cultural epicenter in the heart of Downtown Augusta, GA.

Director," said Beth Morrison, President of the Miller Theater Board. "We are excited for the future of
the Miller Theater."

Over the past 3 years, Watts has emerged as a vocal leader in the community. He has served on
numerous boards, including his current role on the Board of Directors for the Augusta/CSRA Habitat for
Humanity.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Professional Sciences from the University of South Carolina,
where he majored in Media Arts.
