The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce will host the 2024 SC Chamber Grassroots Tour on Thursday, August 8 at the Good Morning North Augusta breakfast.

Each fall, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce partners with regional and local chambers across the state on the annual grassroots tour. This event will provide attendees information on key issues affecting the competitiveness of businesses across the state and afford them the opportunity to express opinions on the importance of these issues as they relate specifically to their business. The interactive format utilized by the SC Chamber will allow them to anonymously capture feedback and assist with forming their 2025 legislative priority list of issues that they will be advocating to state elected officials.

Will is responsible for the development and management of the SC Chamber’s overall government affairs, public policy, and communications strategies, and the organization’s day-to-day lobbying activities. Prior to joining the SC Chamber, Frierson was the Government Relations Manager for the National Cotton Council of America (NCC) in Washington, DC where he assisted in coordinating the Washington activities of the NCC and oversaw the organization’s political activities. A native of Orangeburg, SC, Frierson attended Wake Forest University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in politics and international affairs. He has been with the SC Chamber since December 2021.

The Chamber’s GMNA breakfast series is held in the Palmetto Terrace Ballroom on the 4th floor of the Municipal Building and begins at 7:30 am.
